25 killed, injured in Pakistan religious school explosion
TEHRAN, Feb. 28 (MNA) – A powerful explosion struck the Jamia Haqqania religious school in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province during Friday prayers, leaving multiple people killed and injured.
The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province announced that an explosion occurred during Friday prayers at the religious institute known as Jamia Haqqania.
Initial reports suggest that 5 people were killed and 20 others were injured in the blast.
Today’s explosion appears to have been a suicide attack.
