The Minister of State for Higher Education Hon.John Chrysestom Muyingo has said  the technical team in the Ministry of Education and Sports is still analyzing the findings of the Education Review Commission before presenting them to Parliament and Cabinet.
Earlier this month, the Commission, led by Amanya Mushega, submitted a report to the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Museveni contained several proposals, including the removal of the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) as a way to improve the education system.
Joseph Ssewungu, the Member of Parliament for Kalungu West, told the Speaker to direct the government to table the report before Parliament so that they can thoroughly scrutinize some of the proposals.

In response, Minister Muyingo acknowledged receipt of the report, but emphasized that the findings are still under review.
He stated that once the analysis is complete, a policy will be formulated and presented to both Cabinet and Parliament for consideration.
