Three Others Critically Injured In Kanungu Road Accident.
A tragic road accident early this morning claimed the life of an American tourist and left three others injured when a vehicle lost control and rolled off a sharp corner. The crash occurred at approximately 7:00 am in Kakureiju Village. The ill-fated vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number UAM 271U, was being driven by 33-year-old Alpha Dadaire, a resident of Wakiso District.

Police in Kanungu district are still investigating the Actual cause of a fatal road crash that has occurred today 27th January 2025Â at approximately 07:00 am in Kakureiju village, Kanungu District.
The crash involved a Toyota Land Cruiser registration number UAM 271U, driven by Alpha Dadaire, a 33-year-old resident of Wakiso District. The vehicle, carrying American tourists, failed to break while navigating a sharp corner on a slope, lost control, and rolled several times before ending up in Kyeshero Bridge.
The accident resulted in the death of Shuldman Harrison Evan, a 40-year-old resident of New York, USA.
Three others were injured in the crash: 1. Zachary Avayou, a 39-year-old resident of Pennsylvania, USA 2. Jeremy Frederick Wright, a 25-year-old resident of California, USA 3. Alpha Dadaire, the 33-year-old driver.
The victims have been rushed to Bwindi Hospital, while the deceased has been conveyed to the same hospital.
