FDC Katonga Demands Assurance of Safety and Welfare Rights of Dr. Kizza Besigye at Luzira Prison
The FDC Katonga-based faction has called for the easing of restrictions imposed on Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye and his co-accused, Hajji Obeid Kamulegeya Lutale, which currently bar them from receiving visitors and welfare support at Luzira Prison.
This concern was raised by their lawyer, Erias Lukwago, who also serves as the interim president of the People’s Front for Freedom Party, during a media briefing held at the FDC Katonga-based headquarters.
