Scores of passengers sustained injuries when a Goglon Bus overturned early Monday morning on the Katosi-Nyenga road in Buikwe district.

The injured were transported to Kawolo Hospital for immediate medical care.
Meanwhile, the bus has been towed to Ngogwe Police Station, where it awaits inspection by the Inspectorate of Vehicles.
The driver, who escaped unhurt, fled the scene and remains at large. Police have launched a manhunt for him and are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
Ssezibwa Region Police Spokesperson, Hellen Butoto, confirmed the incident and assured the public that the driver would be apprehended soon.
Authorities have reminded drivers to exercise caution, particularly during the festive season when roads are busier as people travel to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
The ongoing heavy rains have further worsened road conditions, making them slippery and increasing the risk of accidents.
