Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas Yan Jiarong Meets with The Tribune Managing Editor Stephen Hunt

On 20 November 2024, the Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas Her Excellency Ms. Yan Jiarong, met with Mr.Stephen Hunt, managing editor of The Tribune, and Ms.Earyel Bowleg, a Tribune reporter, to exchange views on President Xi Jinping’s recent visit to Latin American countries and Bowleg’s attendance at the Global South Media and Think Tank Summit. Yan emphasized that both China and The Bahamas belong to the “Global South” and that China looks forward to speaking the “Voice of the South” with the Bahamian media and think tanks.
