Thousands Evacuate as Typhoon Makes Landfall in Northern Philippines.

Thousands of people were evacuating from at-risk coastal areas in the northern Philippines on Thursday, November 13, as Typhoon Usagi made landfall.

Footage from the 2nd Cagayan Provincial Mobile Force Company shows crews carrying children through floodwater and helping people into vehicles. The organisation said families were being transported to nearby shelters.

Typhoon Usagi, also known as Typhoon Ofel, weakened from a super typhoon to a typhoon as it made landfall.
