Nicole Scherzinger Posts Liam Payne Tribute, Shares Photos from Filming TV Show Just Weeks Ago
Nicole Scherzinger is paying tribute to Liam Payne in a touching post that she just put on Instagram.
If you didn’t know, Nicole was a judge alongside Simon Cowell on The X Factor UK and she actually helped form One Direction. While he’s often crediting as the one who created the band, behind-the-scenes video shows that she was the one picking the members of the group.
Nicole also just worked with Liam on the Netflix competition series Building the Band, which filmed over the summer.
Hours before her tribute was posted, it was revealed that Nicole had been texting with Liam on the day he passed away.
“Dear Liam, I will forever cherish and treasure the time we shared together, from fifteen years ago when One Direction was born, right up until just a few weeks ago,” Nicole wrote. “It was such a blessing to get to work with you recently. We shared the same love and passion for music and I will forever remember the meaningful and joyful conversations we had.”
She added, “It’s been so hard to process that you’re no longer here, but I am grateful to have known your kind heart, sweet soul and character. You brought so much joy, light, and laughter to the lives of those that truly knew you. I will ‘miss you’ my friend and carry you in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. 🙏🏽♥️.”
