Government Chief Whip Denis Hamson Obua commissioned distribution of iron sheets to religious institutions in Alebtong
The Government Chief Whip/ Ajuri County Member of Parliament, Denis Hamson Obua on Friday, September 27, 2024, delivered Iron Sheets to Anglican, Catholic and Pentecostal Churches in his constituency.
The beneficiaries of the important roofing equipment to build the houses of God included Alanyi Catholic Parish (Greater Abako) 200 Iron Sheets, Ajuri Anglican Archdeaconry (Greater Amugu) 200 Iron Sheets and Pentecostal Church Uganda -PCU (Greater Omoro) 110 Iron Sheets.
Obua and his team earlier on supported 12 schools and this time for churches that are instrumental in entrenching the word of God and feeding the souls of the believers.
The beneficiaries of today were drawn from the three traditional big sub-counties that gave rise to seven administrative units in Ajuri County.
The Iron Sheets were lobbied from the Office of the Prime Minister.
The delivery exercise was also attended by the district officials, including the LCV Chairman, Resident District Commissioner, Chief Administrative Officer and District Security Officer, among others.
The beneficiaries saluted the area MP/Minister Obua for his outstanding lobbying skills in Government and for always ensuring that Ajuri benefits from various developmental programs.
