Iranian ballistic missile found in Lebanon after Israeli strike
An Iranian-made Fateh-110 ballistic missile has been discovered under the rubble of a building in Mount Lebanon following an Israeli airstrike, providing the first concrete evidence that Hezbollah possesses the powerful weapon.
The missile, with a range of approximately 250 to 300 kilometers, is capable of delivering a warhead weighing up to 500 kilograms and can be outfitted with precision guidance systems.
The discovery follows years of speculation that Hezbollah has been supplied with advanced missile systems by Iran. Reports suggest that Hezbollah has had access to the Fateh-110 since around 2014, but this is the first time such a missile has been found and confirmed on Lebanese soil.
