Tehran traffic police will donate 5,000 helmets to the city’s motorcyclists

Tehran Traffic Police, in collaboration with the private sector, has prepared 5,000 helmets to distribute among motorcyclists to encourage citizens to wear helmets and reduce injuries caused by accidents.

Nournews: Iran’s Traffic Police has implemented a program called ’10,’ which includes 10 ways to organize motorcyclist traffic on the streets.According to Tehran Traffic Police, the plan has resulted in a 38-percent reduction in fatal accidents among motorcyclists. Traffic Police also stated that 58 percent of fatal accidents involving motorcyclists occur on highways.
