Kazakhstani delegation to attend 79th session of UNGA

On September 22-28, 2024, Kazakhstan delegation led by Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan will participate in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

Head of Kazakh Foreign Ministry will deliver remarks at the “Summit of the Future” and the General Debate of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. Along with this, the Kazakh delegation plans to take part in other UNGA side events dedicated to economy, trade, finance, environment, health care, regional security, and others.

Moreover, on the sidelines of the General Assembly, meetings of the foreign ministers of the OTS, ECO, ECO-ASEAN, CSTO, C5+1 Dialogue, as well as the Annual Ministerial meeting of the UN member states of the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC) will be held.

Minister Nurtleu also plans to hold a number of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other countries and heads of international organizations.
