A Ukrainian Special Operations Forces unit destroyed the detected invader’s float bridge unit in the Kursk region.

The Ukrainian SOF press service released footage of the destruction.

Operators of the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces discovered and destroyed seven units of enemy equipment: five PPS-84 pontoon bridges on KrAZ-255 truck chassis and two other trucks.

The convoy was first hit by artillery, after which the abandoned vehicles were sought by unmanned systems operators using FPV drones.

A unit of Russian pontooners was involved in constructing a pontoon crossing of the Seim River near the village of Zvane in the Kursk region. However, due to timely detection, the Russian operation was foiled.

The location of the convoy’s hit was geolocated (here) on the Russian-controlled right bank, two kilometers from the destroyed crossing.

It is worth noting that the author of the original video of the destroyed equipment also posted another video on August 26, showing the destroyed bridge and the broken pontoon crossing on it (here).

Judging by the absence of a PPS-84 element on one of the trucks in the above convoy of Russian equipment, this unit directed the crossing on the bridge.

At the end of last month, operators of the Special Operations Forces of the Requiem Group destroyed the engineering equipment of a Russian unit that was deploying a crossing up the Seim River.

In particular, a PP-91M vehicle with a PMP-M pontoon link and an EOV-3521 army bucket excavator were hit.
