Israeli forces have continued deadly raids across the West Bank on Wednesday, with at least 33 Palestinians killed over the course of a week of military violence in the illegally occupied territory.
In the latest bloodshed, two Palestinian men were killed in “Israeli aggression on the Dhnaba suburb, east of Tulkarem”, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.
This comes after a 16-year-old girl was killed by the Israeli army in the town of Kfar Dan, in Jenin governorate, the ministry said.
An Israeli air strike overnight killed a 15-year-old Palestinian in Tulkarem, said a hospital source in the city.
Israel claimed it was “targeting militants”.
Since Wednesday last week, 33 people have been killed and at least 130 wounded in the West Bank after Israel’s military launched a series of coordinated raids, a ministry statement said.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, civil defence rescuers are working to retrieve bodies from the rubble after Israel bombed and destroyed the building of Namaa College in Gaza City. At least six people have been killed, with dozens more wounded, according to Wafa.
Israel continues to relentlessly bombard Gaza as its war on the enclave enters its 11th month, with at least 40,861 Palestinians killed, most of whom are innocent civilians.
Israel continues Lebanon airstrikes
Israeli jets have carried out airstrikes on the towns of Ainatha and Kunin in southern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
Earlier, the NNA reported that an Israeli air raid on Khiam, also in southern Lebanon, injured at least two people.
