The First Lady of Uganda, Maama Janet Kataaha Museveni, has commended the leadership of the Busoga region for the work of infrastructure improvements in their communities.
She made the remarks during the consecration of Makuttu church in Bugweri, where she was represented by the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority, Dorothy Kisaka, on Sunday 1st September 2024
The colourful ceremony was officiated by the Bishop of Busoga central region Rev Patrick Wakula with the support of a host of clergy from the area. It was also attended by representatives from Busoga Kingdom, the area member of Parliament, Hon. Rachel Magoola, among others
