Tehran welcomes expansion of ties with Oman, Kuwait

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a phone talk with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi said that Tehran-Muscat relations are expanding in all dimensions.

During the telephone conversation, Al Busaidi congratulated Araghchi on his appointment as foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran and wished him success and well-being.

In this conversation, Al Busaidi pointed out the Sultan of Oman’s special attention to the relations between the two countries and its increasing development process, and emphasized his readiness to work closely with his Iranian counterpart to follow up and implement the agreements of the heads of the two countries.

The foreign minister of the Sultanate of Oman also stated that Muscat supports the continuation of political consultations between the two countries.

Araghchi, for his part, while thanking the call and congratulation by Omani counterpart, expressed his mutual readiness for close cooperation and interaction with his Omani counterpart regarding matters of common interest in bilateral, regional and international fields.

Meanwhile, Araghchi in a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al Yahya said that Tehran welcomes the expansion of relations between the two countries in all dimensions.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister congratulated Araghchi on his appointment and wished him success in his new responsibility.

In this conversation, Kuwaiti foreign minister pointed out the will of his country to continue the process of development and expansion of relations between Tehran and Kuwait, and emphasized the importance of continuing political dialogues between the two countries.

Araghchi while thanking his Kuwaiti counterpart for his congratulations, emphasized that Tehran welcomes the expansion of relations between the two countries in all dimensions.

Referring to the complexity of developments in the West Asian region, he described the continuation of political consultations between the two countries as necessary and constructive.
