On Saturday, Sky Sports News reported that Matt O’Riley was travelling to the south coast for a medical with Brighton.
The deal is worth £30m. The initial fee is £26m, plus £4m in add-ons.
This will be a Celtic and Scottish football record – surpassing the £25m from Al-Ittihad for Jota last summer.
