Per Fabrizio Romano, Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino is on the verge of completing a transfer from Real Sociedad to Arsenal. The player has completed his medical and the clubs are now formalising the deal before making an official announcement. Arsenal will pay €32m fixed fee with €5m add-ons and the player’s contract will be valid until 2028.
