Yesterday thousands of FDC members and supporters gathered at Wagadugu Railway Grounds in Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District, to welcome Party leaders, led by President Hon. Eng. Patrick Amuriat Oboi and Secretary General Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, on the 6th edition of the nationwide mobilization and recruitment drive.

While officiating the launch of the digital membership registration in East Buganda, President Amuriat reaffirmed the Party’s commitment to democracy, human rights, and social justice. He condemned the Museveni regime’s destruction of cooperatives, which previously uplifted people’s living standards.
In a groundbreaking move, Mr. Kemisi Lutajani the LC3 Chairman of Lugazi Central Division, joined the FDC family from NUP. President Amuriat while receiving him praised his courageous decision, and choosing to join the FDC fold.
The revolutionary train now heads to Kakindu Stadium in Jinja City East this Saturday, 24th August 2024.
