Ready, set, gold! It was a victory for Team GB’s Keely Hodgkinson in Paris as she won the 800m gold on Monday (5 August) at this year’s Olympic Games.

The 22 year old athlete won silver at the 2020 Tokyo Games, but 2024 was truly her year as the middle distance athlete finished top of the podium with an impressive time of 1:56.72.
