Rossmann, one of Germany’s largest pharmacies, announced this week that it ended its relationship with electric vehicle maker Tesla over CEO Elon Musk’s endorsement of former President Donald Trump.
In a statement Tuesday, the drugstore chain said it would no longer buy Tesla for its corporate fleet because Mr. Musk supports the Republican presidential nominee.
The company said the move would take effect immediately.
The move probably won’t damage Tesla’s profit.
Mr. Musk publicly backed Mr. Trump’s bid to regain the White House after the former president survived an assassination attempt in July. The endorsement came after the billionaire pledged not to endorse any candidate.
