Natasha Nyonyozi (23) from Kabale District in southwestern Uganda, and an accountant by profession, was crowned Miss Uganda 2024 on Saturday night. The news has sparked jubilation across social media, with Ugandans congratulating her on this achievement. Nyonyozi has made history as the first Miss Uganda from the Kigezi region in Western Uganda.

Natasha emerged as the best candidate at this year’s Miss Uganda grand finale held on Saturday, August 3, at Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala.
The first runners-up and second runners-up on the night were Suraya Umeimah and Jaon Nabatanzi respectively.
As newly crowned Miss Uganda 2024, Natasha receives a brand-new Toyota Wish, a prize to accompany her esteemed title. She will also represent Uganda at the Miss World beauty pageant.
