The Evening Standard reports that Arsenal are close to completing a deal for Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Seftord.
The England under-20 international is out of contract next year, and so the Dutch side are willing to sell now.
The paper reports: “Arsenal are finalising a move for Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford, with the plan for him to play a part in their tour to the USA.
“The Gunners have agreed a fee with Ajax in the region of €1 million and the 18-year-old is set to bolster Arsenal’s goalkeeping department.
“Ajax had wanted to keep Setford, but he had one year left on his contract and was unwilling to sign fresh terms.”
