His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda, has officially opened the Capacity Building Meeting for Regional Assistants to the Mufti and their Secretaries. The event is underway at the Main Library of Isan International University, UMSC Headquarters, Old Kampala, on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024. The outcomes of the meeting will be shared later in the day.
Session facilitators include Dr. Fauz Mulumba, Director of Research & Post Graduate Studies, and Dr. Muhammad Sendagi, head of the Faculty of Business Studies, Isan International University. Present at the meeting are His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Ali Waiswa, Deputy Mufti; Hon. Counsel Haj Muhammad Ali Aluma, Deputy Secretary General in charge of Finance and Administration; Hon. Arinda Abdu-Razaq, Deputy Secretary General in charge of Development and Planning; Dr. Sheikh Ziyad Swaleh Lubanga, UMSC Director of Sharia; and his deputy, Sheikh Salim Bbosa, Hon. Were Abubaker Wandaghor, National Chairperson UMSC Electoral Commission among others.
