When will the UK election results be out? Its what is in most of the whole of Europe as elections took place today 4th of July.
Today millions of Brits go to the polls across the country to elect 650 members of parliament.
This page will update throughout the night as the results of the UK general election come in. We’ll also be following developments live on our blog.
Heading into the vote, the last YouGov poll projected the opposition Labour party would win a record number of seats. Will they get there or will the Tories manage to avoid annihilation?
When will the UK election results be out?
Polling stations will close at 10 p.m. BST, after which the exit poll will be published, giving us a suggestion of who is winning.
The first local results are expected to land about an hour later, followed by a lull of a few hours. Most constituencies are expected to declare a winner between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. BST.
Our map showing general election results by constituency will be populated with live updates throughout the night.
