The South Korean Foreign Ministry summoned Russia’s ambassador to that country Georgy Zinoview following the latter country’s president Vladimir Putin’s visit to North Korea, RIA Novosti reported on Friday.
According to the outlet, the ministry demanded a meeting with Zinoviev after Russia and North Korea signed a military cooperation deal, agreeing to help each other in case one of them is attacked by a third party.
South Korea previously said it will take necessary measures to respond to the deal.
