His Excellency President (Rtd) Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived in Benin City, Nigeria, for the 2024 Goodluck Jonathan Foundation (GJF) Democracy Dialogue. The event, which is the third in the series, will be held in Edo State’s capital and is organized by GJF founder and former Nigerian President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Co-hosting the dialogue is Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki.
This year’s dialogue, with the theme “Functional Education and Effective Political Leadership as a Panacea to Africa’s Growth and Development,” aims to bring together key political leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the continent. The discussions will focus on the crucial role of education and the recruitment of effective political leaders in achieving the development goals of African nations.
