Tripoli, June 11, 2024 (LANA) – The head of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Al-Dabaiba, announced on Monday evening that the problem of Libyan pilgrims arriving with special Hajj visas from Uganda, who are stranded at Saudi airports, has been solved with joint Libyan-Saudi cooperation.
Al-Dabaiba said in a tweet posted on his account on X, “I issued instructions today to solve the problem of Libyan pilgrims coming with special Hajj visas from Uganda, who are stranded at Saudi airports, and to bear all procedural responsibility towards them.”
The Prime Minister confirmed in his tweet that this problem was resolved, thanks to God, with the cooperation and understanding of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a successful effort from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General in Jeddah.
