The Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals) and National Youth Representative on the 11th Parliament, Republic of Uganda Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro joins the pilgrims from Nebbi Diocese to Namugongo Catholic Shrine for the Martyrs’ Day celebrations
This year’s Martyr’s Day celebration is led by Nebbi Catholic Diocese under the theme Joshua 24:15 “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord “.
Nyamutoro, together with the eldest Pilgrim 82 years of age and the youngest 11 years old , led them from Bombo to Matugga, a 16km journey that energized them for the sacrifice, faith and devotion they have in God.
We pray that God continues to raise more God fearing households in our motherland Uganda and May His favour and protection never depart from his people_Nyamutoro said
