Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among has strongly criticized the Kagadi incident, where a government vehicle driver fatally ran over one of the demonstrators protesting the poor state of roads in Kagadi District. She remarked that such acts of lawlessness have no place in society and urged the relevant law enforcement agencies to ensure that justice prevails. She conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family.
