Mpasi scored the winning penalty to help D.R Congo eliminate Egypt from the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Côte d’lvoire 2023 in the round of 16 stage.
The goalkeeper is already likening their run in the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Côte d’lvoire 2023 to their CHAN success in Côte d’Ivoire 15 years ago.

Mpasi said he had remembered his missed shot in training and tried to do better.
