Former President Of Kenya H.E. President (Rtd) Uhuru Kenyatta chats with Uganda’s Vice President H.E Major (Retired) Jessica Alupo.
H.E. President (Rtd) Uhuru Kenyatta has this evening arrived at N’Djili International Airport in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the president-elect H.E. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo. The ceremony is slated for tomorrow Saturday 20th January 2024 at the Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa.
H.E. Tshisekedi garnered more than 70 percent of the total vote cast during the general elections that were held in December 2023 to comfortably secure his re-election for a second term.
The former President and Facilitator of the EAC- led Nairobi Peace Process was accompanied by Uganda’s Vice President Jessica Alupo.
