The State Department for Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline K. Njogu on Friday officially opened the Ready Care Staffing Africa Limited in Kilimani Nairobi. The facility will play a pivotal role in preparing nurses for the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN), an exam that previously required Kenyan candidates to travel to India or South Africa.

Speaking during the opening ceremony in Nairobi, PS Njogu noted that the cutting-edge simulation and training centre will significantly contribute to elevating the standards of nursing care in Kenya, E. Africa and globally. The opening of the Centre comes just days before the official opening of the Pearson VUE Test Centre in Nairobi set for Tuesday next week which will offer the NCLEX-RN examinations, eliminating the need for Kenyan candidates to travel abroad for the tests.

The establishment of the facility is a testament to the engagement and collaborative efforts between the Government and the Diaspora community who wish to invest as well as contribute to the skills and technology transfer back home
