RwandAir, the Rwandan national airline, has welcomed the arrival of its seventh Boeing 737 aircraft, marking a significant step in the carrier’s ongoing fleet expansion efforts.On October 25th, RwandAir took delivery of its seventh Boeing 737-800, registered as 9XR-WY. The aircraft will be stationed at the airline’s hub in Kigali, where it is set to provide passengers with an enhanced flying experience. This addition to the fleet will facilitate RwandAir’s regional operations, strengthening connectivity throughout Africa and the Middle East, and streamlining transfers via Kigali.
The newly acquired Boeing 737 offers a choice of 12 Business Class seats and 144 Economy Class seats, providing passengers with increased flexibility. This expansion brings the total number of aircraft in RwandAir’s fleet to 14, comprising three A330s, seven B737s, and four regional aircraft.
As of now, RwandAir operates flights to various destinations spanning East, Central, West, and Southern Africa, as well as routes covering the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. With the addition of the seventh Boeing 737, the airline is poised to bolster its presence and provide enhanced services to passengers across the regions it serves.
