He got out of the car without trouble and immediately went over to make sure the female driver was unhurt.

Rashford and his teammates had returned from Turf Moor aboard a team coach.

Now the star has broken his silence on Instagram, saying: “3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages.”

A United spokesman said: “Marcus is fine and was not injured. It was an accidental collision as he left the training ground after returning from Burnley.

Marcus Rashford walked away shook up but unscathed after crashing his £700,000 Rolls Royce outside Manchester United’s Carrington training ground on Saturday night.

Following United’s 1-0 win away at BurnleyErik ten Hag and his players took the team bus back to Carrington before heading home in their personal cars.

“It was an incident involving his car and one driven by a member of the public.

“Thankfully both were uninjured and no ambulance was required.”

Both Rashford and the other driver were breathalysed as a matter of routine.

The star forward’s captain Bruno Fernandes came across the scene and urgently stopped to offer help to Rashford and the woman.

England international Rashford’s journey was soon brought to an abrupt halt, however, following an accidental collision with another car.

Footage from the aftermath showed Rashford’s badly-dented motor on the side of the road.

A pole on a traffic island was toppled just metres away.

Rashford was left shaken-up but has no serious injuries, a source told The Sun.

Cops rushed to Carrington Spur but no arrests were made, and no ambulances were called.

Pictures from the area today show traffic cones and barriers around a traffic island littered with debris.

Rashford and his Man Utd teammates had just beaten Burnley 1-0 thanks to a brilliant Fernandes goal.

Before the game, Rashford said: “One good result, one good performance, can be a game-changer at this club.

“It’s a difficult position and I’m not as happy as I’d like to be, but there’s only one way to get back this happiness is to seek results.

“We know the effect that a victory can have on the team and then it’s up to the players to show consistency.

“That’s what we lacked. Last year, we were very consistent at home, but very irregular away.”

Rashford owns three Rolls-Royces – the £700k Black Badge Wraith involved in the crash, a £390k Black Badge Cullinan and just last month he bought a £560k Cullinan Blue Shadow.

Rashford also recently bought a £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante.

It comes after Rashford was one of two Man U players to turn down the captaincy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a source said.

In a no-holds-barred interview this week Solskjaer said he was “disappointed” when two players rejected the armband.

While there was significant damage to his car, Rashford, along with the other driver involved, managed to walk away unhurt and while police officers arrived on scene to manage the wreck site, no ambulance was required.

Footage of the incident surfaced on social media in which Rashford’s Rolls Royce can be seen heavily dented with pieces of the rear bumper ripped off and strewn on the side of the road as hazard lights flashed. A nearby pole on a traffic island was also wrecked following the collision.

An eye-witness filming at the scene, who was being diverted a different route home by police as a result of Rashford’s crash, claimed Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to check on his team-mate as he too was heading home from the training ground.

While Rashford has been left shaken up by the crash he avoided any injury and has not yet been ruled out of contention to feature in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup meeting with Crystal Palace. Oktoberfest celebrations after nettingBayern hat-trick
