Hon. Dr. Sam Mayanja is a Minister of State for Lands a position he has held since June, 2021 to date. He is also Senior Partner/founding partner at KAA firm. He specialises in handling the Firm’s work on Banking and Insurance.
Dr. Mayanja has experience with International Organizations such as Mombasa Trans Africa Highway Authority, World Bank, Uganda Development Bank and also at the Law Development Centre.
We are proud and happy to report to you all Diaspora, that the office of Dr Mayanja has dedicated a *Diaspora Compliance Desk at the Minister of State for Lands to Specifically handle Diaspora Issues* in response to UNAA’s request that was made by the UNAA President and Executive Secretary Mr. Lambert Etibot during their visit in Uganda in April of this year.
Dr Mayanja will be featured at this year’s UNAA Ekibba Ttaka Forum where he will be addressing land concerns for Diaspora Members and finding solutions to Land Grabbing, Land Scams, Fraud and Fake Titles etc.
Attorney Kalikumutima will moderate this forum where a system demo will be presented by the Head of ICT Uganda National Information Centre Mr Lenin Oonyu on how to monitor your properties and land in real time and also be able to ascertain the status on your properties.
Those with complaints on land or property related issues should bring them so that they are addressed by the Minister and his staff in this forum at this year’s forum. This is a must attend forum, and we hope all of you with land issues can use this opportunity to have them solved. Remember, we will always care for your welfare at UNAA.
