Man Utd have increased their offer for Andre Onana with the Inter Milan goalkeeper rejecting interest from Saudi Arabia, according to reports.
The Red Devils are looking for a potential replacement for David de Gea with the Spaniard currently considering his options after Man Utd made a U-turn on a contract offer.
It is understood that the Premier League club initially offered De Gea £200k a week, a big reduction on his wages, which the 32-year-old accepted.
But Man Utd withdrew their offer at the last minute and put a fresh deal on the table for even less money.
De Gea has now officially left the club but Man Utd released a statement last week saying they were still in talks over keeping the goalkeeper at Old Trafford.
Onana is the Red Devils’ top target to replace De Gea in net with the Premier League outfit locked in talks with Inter Milan over a potential deal.

Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has now revealed that Man Utd have “verbally” offered €45m to Inter Milan, an increase of €5m from their previous bid.
Di Marzio wrote on Twitter: “United have reached 45 million only verbally, Inter are asking for 60, let’s see if the offer will go up again.”
Writing his Caught Offside column yesterday, reliable journalist Ben Jacobs claimed that Man Utd are looking to seal the deal for “under €50m”.
Jacobs wrote: “Manchester United are still pursuing Andre Onana, but at the time of writing (Tuesday morning) they have not tabled an official bid.
“Inter are going to have to sell some stars, even with €18m incoming for Marcelo Brozovic, who was announced as a new Al-Nassr player yesterday.
“Manchester United want to do a deal for under £42m (€50m). Inter value Onana higher.
“Manchester United’s approach is fully in keeping with the club’s desire to get two players in early for around £100m, with Mason Mount having taken up £55m from that budget (and a potential £5m in add-ons in the future).
“Manchester United will play on the fact Inter need to sell and, as with Mount, stick to their valuation.
“Manchester United will also want to resolve the David de Gea situation quickly. He is now a free agent, and it would be really disappointing and unsettling for Erik ten Hag to enter into the main part pre-season without knowing who his No.1 is.
“Dean Henderson is back training with the club following a loan spell at Nottingham Forest. But unless he’s crowned No.1, the 26-year-old wants to leave. Forest are expected to make a bid. And for Henderson to change his mind and agree to stay at Old Trafford he would have to be positive no one is ahead of him in the pecking order.”
90min are also reporting that Onana ‘has rejected interest from Saudi Arabia in hope that he can push through a summer transfer to Manchester United’.
