KCCA and ABSA Bank Uganda have launched a strategic partnership to improve service delivery in Kampala Capital City and achieve the Smart City Agenda

The KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka and the Managing Director ABSA bank, Uganda Mr. Mumba Kalifungwa launched the strategic partnership today at the Headquarters of Absa at Hannington Road in Kampala City.
 Kisaka was accompanied by members of KCCA top management from Legal, Physical planning,  Treasury, and Gender
  The partnership with ABSA will focus on Environmental Sustainability, Economic empowerment and Behavioral change communication which are crucial deliverables for the city’s service delivery.  KCCA will work with ABSA to address the challenges of deteriorating green cover, unemployment, financial illiteracy,  provifing IT equipment and increase of  awareness about the different  transformation government programs, like PDM.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is pleased to be part of this partnership with ABSA Bank and to include the  private sector as a key stakeholder in city development plans. KCCA Executive Director said the Authority will intentionally partner with others in the banking sector to achieve the Smart City aspirations
