This Premier League title race looks like it will go right down to the wire after Arsenal passed one of their toughest tests of the run-in by beating Newcastle at St James’ Park. Martin Odegaard lashed past Nick Pope from range in the first-half, before a Fabian Schar own goal late on secured Mikel Arteta’s side all three points. Their gap to Manchester City is now back to one point.

NEWCASTLE, England, May 7 (Reuters) – Arsenal showed no sign of raising the white flag in the Premier League title race with a 2-0 victory at Newcastle United on Sunday to close the gap on leaders Manchester City to one point.
