Angel Kigongo fired the hosts into the lead but Kawempe Muslim fought back to win 3-1 thanks to goals from Shakirah Nyinagahirwa, Phiona Nabulime and Hadijah Nandago.
The win keeps Kawempe Muslim in second place on 29 points, Uganda Martyrs on the other hand remain 4th on 25 points.
Makerere University earned a 3-0 win over Olila to boost their chances of surviving relegation.
Husinah Mpanja, Sharon Namatovu and Josephine Ndagire scored a goal each to help SHE MAK move up to 7th place on 18 points.
On the other hand, the loss pushed Olila to the base of the log on 16 points.
Elsewhere, Asubo Gafford Ladies earned a point against She Corporate in the barren stalemate played on Sunday.
The point helped Gafford to move out of the drop zone and are currently eighth with 17 points.
Lady Doves who are still within the relegation zone played out a two-all draw on Saturday in Mukono.
The game between Kampala Queens and Rines was initially supposed to be played on Sunday but was postponed to Monday after a heavy downpour left the pitch unplayable.
