I am a public servant who was given a job to do and a mandate to  serve. Running away from it is not a solution or answer to the issues affecting Kampala. I am vested in the development of this nation, and I will not give up. What we need is resources, and we address the infrastructural challenges of the city.

Kisaka was appearing on the hot seat of Capital FM’s Saturday dubbed  Capital Ganster, a show hosted by Semweya Musoke from 10am-12pm.

Kisaka had been asked by Nanfy  and Abdu Katuntu to resign if she finds she doesn’t have enough funds to run the Authority.

Kisaka in her response said, i was given this responsibility.I will  continue to ask for funds. The PSST Mr.Goobi must be tired of us.We are ever at the Ministry reminding him  to release our balance.

President Museven this week while meeting KCCA team directed the Finace Ministry to release 6billion to the Athority so that the potholes in the city can be fixed.

However, many sympathizers are saying that’s liitle  money  but  Kisaka said, they still welcome it because they have no choice but to work with that. Kisaka said this was not an extra grant but a balance off their balance.

Kisaka also clarified that KCCA Security who confiscate the traders merchandise would be delt with since they are coming up with Cameras that would monitor their operations.

This follows the Public outry in the manner in which the street Vendors are arrested and their merchandise confiscated. “The wrong elements would be disciplined” she added.3
