President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has left no doubt in anybody’s mind where he stands on the matter of the Smart City Agenda. While addressing party faithfuls at Kololo he said, “Leave Kisaka alone!”
Speaking at Kololo independence grounds, the President was addressing the NRM leadership for Kampala including, Ministers, RCCs, SG and Directors, NRM secretariat, 898 NRM village chair persons, to let the Executive Director do her job.
The full squad of NRM in Kampala was told, “Leave Kisaka alone, dont disrupt what she is doing. She is doing Biblical work, turning the Sauls into Pauls”. He not only affirmed the Agenda he said he is going to support it by ensuring that City obtains more garbage skips. As we speak, the Smart City Agenda is marching forward.
