The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023, reiterated the institutions’ preparedness and commitment to conducting a free, fair, credible, and all-inclusive electoral process.
Prof. Mahmood said this during a meeting with heads of missions at the INEC offices, who visited the electoral body to check on the commission’s preparedness for the 25th February 2023, General election.
The heads of the missions’ delegation included former Kenyan President H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM), former South African President H.E Thabo Mbeki, Commonwealth Electoral Mission and former President of Sierra Leon H.E Ernest Bai Koroma Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) election observers’ mission.
