Over 200 Million shillings (Cash and Pledges) realised in a fundraising drive at St. Kizito Bihanga Catholic Parish-Buhweju District.

Uganda’s Prime Minister Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah who was Chief Guest at the function, urged the Clergy to join government in eliminating bad practices in society that are affecting service delivery.

“The practice of levying fees in government schools should be condemned strongly and the culprits be reported and punished”.

The Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese Rt. Rev. Bishop Lambert Bainomugisha who was the main celebrant, commended Nabbanja for her tireless effort towards the development of the church and the nation.

After the fundraising function, the Premier joined mourners in Kazo District at the sendoff of the late Mother to the area Woman MP Jenefer Muheesi.

Nabbanja hailed the deceased for living a responsible life and urged mourners to emulate her good deeds.

Several MPs, Local , Religious and opinion leaders graced both occasions.
