Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk is the super fight boxing fans worldwide are desperate to see in 2023, with the hope being that we won’t have to wait too long to see the two best heavyweights in the world to step foot in the ring together.
Depending on mandatory defences and any subsequent vacating of belts, the fight will have the added spice of being an undisputed clash, with the heavyweight division not seeing anything of the sorts for over 20 years now.
However, we just want to see the two men battle it out as they look to claim the tag as the best heavyweight fighter in the world right now. It would just be a nice bonus should the bout also see an undisputed champion crowned.
Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk
The Gypsy King has been quick to comment on the physique of his rivals in recent years, dubbing Anthony Joshua a body builder, as well as attacking Usyk’s size and prowess, despite him beating AJ twice.
When referring to Usyk, Fury repeatedly called him a middleweight, claiming in no uncertain terms that he simply wouldn’t be a match for The Gypsy King as he was too small and couldn’t compete with the size and power he has, although many will have thought that about Usyk taking on the ‘body builder’.
So what has Usyk done? Retaliated with some good ol’ Tyson Fury taunts. He just shared a snap of himself looking streamlined next to a swimming pool, with a caption that mocks Fury and calls him out whilst going on to call him ‘belly’, hopefully that’s a sign the fight will be announced sooner rather than later!

Usyk captioned his post by claiming: “The middleweight is here! Where are you Belly?” He tagged Fury in his post too, he certainly isn’t messing about and is confident he’ll upset the odds to take down The Gypsy King.
He certainly looks much smaller in the snap than he did in the fights against Joshua, so unless he bulks up again, there could be a huge discrepancy in size and weight when him and Fury finally agree on a fight.
It’s a worry though Usyk’s current size, could he even make the heavyweight cut off looking that streamlined?! Only time will tell, but let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.
What have the fans said?
Fans are worried for Usyk though after the photo emerged, with one claiming: “That has to be an old picture surely he can’t be that small right, with the proposed fight less than 2 months away?”
Another claimed: “Usyk is underestimating Fury just like his countryman Klitschko did. They all learn the hard way.”
