Uganda business and technical examination board has appealed to the members of the parliamentary committee on education and sports to help them get the 16 billion in the coming financial year budget to fiancé the construction of their new assessment center inKtyambogo.

While appearing before the above committee chaired by the vice chairperson who also doubles as Kibale county MP Casbert Abigaba to highlight what is put in their budget frame work paper, UBTEB executive secretary Onesmus Oyesige told the committee that they are spending a lot of money in renting and yet they could solve that by completing the construction of their assessment center.

He also added that the building was budget to take 25 billion but so far only 9 has been provided and he also noted that their budget of workshops was cut and yet they need to retool their staffs and the leaders of the institutions they deal with.

He also told the committee that they need3.6 billion shillings to procure 200 containers which will act as stores during the time of examinations and those containers will be placed in different police stations in different regions
He also noted that their budget was cut from 40 billion to 30 billion and that it is going to affect some of their work but they have nothing to do they will have to move on with what has been provided to them.
