Daley Blind, a former Ajax defender, has accepted a free transfer to Bayern Munich till the end of the current season.
The 32-year-old left-back from the Netherlands decided in December to end his agreement with Ajax six months early.
Blind joined the Ajax academy at the age of eight and spent two stints in Amsterdam playing 333 times for the Dutch team.
With 99 caps for his country, he participated in every game as the Netherlands got to the World Cup quarterfinals in Qatar.
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said: “We are very happy that Daley is joining our team.
Daley is a flexible defender who can play on the left as well as inside.
“He has extensive international experience and leadership qualities. I’m sure he will help us.”
Between his stints with his childhood team and 2014 and 2018, Blind played for Manchester United.
