The census exercise starting 15th August 2022 will involve all BODA-BODAs, motorcycles and their riders operating in Kampala Capital City.

The objectives of the census exercise are: –

1. To enable the Authority, organise and regulate the BODA-BODA operations  for the overall wellbeing of the city
2. To enhance the safety and security of BODA-BODA riders and their passengers
3. To establish an online database for BODA-BODA, motorcycles and riders involved in public transport in Kampala.
4. To update the motor vehicle registry database with current information on BODA-BODA and motorcycle ownership
