President Uhuru Kenyatta when he joined other Heads of Government during the official opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held at the Kigali Convention Centre in Rwanda. The meeting was presided over by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales who represented Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the head of the Commonwealth. Other speakers included host and incoming Commonwealth Chair-in-Office, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
