The cultural speaker, John Francis Okuma, called for a council sitting, where Emolot (the chairperson) would be installed as Papa Osuban’s successor on interim basis
Emolot will hold the position for six months, after which the election of the substantive Emorimor will be conducted.
“I am happy for the trust that the council has bestowed on me to caretake as interim Emorimor,” said Emolot after his installation that was punctuated with ulutations and dances of praise.
“I accept the task and I promise to steer the clan to greater heights during this period that I am going to be an interim Emorimor.”
